Wonder why I named my company Snow Leopard Creative?

Some years ago, during a younger time in my life I was very much into into mountaineering and traveled across the planet, including one trip to the Tian-Shan range in Central Asia where I had hoped to see a live snow leopard, only to instead see a man selling four snow leopard pelts in Kashgar market in far western China, which had a disquieting impact on me.

 

The mountains and mountaineering are a strong part of my past, and the rare snow leopard something people equate with majesty and beauty. One goal in the long term is to create enough income so some of it can be donated to protecting these beautiful animals.
